Overview

The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at the University of South Florida offers two fellowship programs: the Forensic Pathology Fellowship and the Cytopathology Fellowship.

The Forensic Pathology Fellowship

Conducted by the faculty at the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department, provides comprehensive training in forensic pathology, including over 200 autopsies and interactions with forensic toxicologists and anthropologists.

The Cytopathology Fellowship

Based primarily at the NIH-designated comprehensive Moffitt Cancer Center, offers extensive training in all areas of cytopathology, including gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens, fine needle aspiration biopsies, and molecular pathology.

Both programs are designed to prepare fellows for advanced practice in their respective fields.
