The University of South Florida participants in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges, and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). You may obtain detailed information on how to apply by contacting your Dean's Office or the ECFMG or by visiting the AAMC-ERAS Website. When completing your application, please be sure include all documentation listed below. Additionally, please be sure to update ERAS with any changes of address, telephone number or other important changes or honors received (AOA).
Because of the extensive number of applications we receive, interviews are handled by invitation only (via email). Interviews are normally done on 4-5 days during the months of October through December.
Requirements for application review are as follows:
- USMLE Step I & II results
We strongly encourage medical students to take the USMLE Step II as early in the fourth year as possible. There is no minimum score; however, it is highly competitive so a better score will help support a personal interview.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Three letters of recommendation
- Medical school transcript
- Dean's letter (MSPE)
- Personal statement
Should you have additional questions you may email email@example.com.
