Current Student Registration
All USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) courses require a permit for enrollment. Particular sections are designated for specific MCOM programs and may restrict enrollment to outside majors without exception. For all courses, it is at the discretion of the instructor as to whether they will allow students outside MCOM to enroll, and their decision is final.
For current MCOM Masters Students, the process is as follows:
- Students are issued permits for their core courses
- An email is sent out to all students prior to registration containing instructions for registering, the upcoming semester courses, and the CRNs needed to add the courses. Included in this email is a chart listing whether the course already has a permit issued to students’ accounts or whether a permit needs to be requested
- Students may request a permit for MCOM electives and core courses using the MCOM Permit Request form.
- Students may also use the MCOM Permit Request form for errors received when trying to add courses already permitted, including “level restriction” or “pre-requisite and test score error”
- Students are responsible for adding their courses in Student Self Service well before the listed university deadline
For USF Graduate Students outside of MCOM:
- Please inquire with the course instructor for permission to join the course
- Once permission is granted, the student may submit a Permit Request Form for the course
