Our Otolaryngology Residency program offers a dynamic five-year training experience, providing extensive education in the medical and surgical management of patients of all ages. Residents also benefit from a protected period for research, allowing them to engage in innovative studies while training across four affiliated institutions.

A USF-developed smartphone app could help patients monitor glaucoma from home, making it easier to detect vision changes before permanent sight loss occurs. Currently in the research stage, Ayyala’s goal is to replicate the gold-standard Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer found in clinics.
