Welcome to the Department of Global Health!

Thank you for visiting the website for the Department of Global Health in the University of South Florida's college of public health! We are a large and diverse department that is united around the central theme of improving the health and lives of the poorest people on the planet. Please take a moment to view the tabs in the upper left hand menu to learn more about our faculty and their specific research interests, academic concentrations and available degree programs, research Centers and Institutes as well as resources for current students. You will find that we offer a plethora of programs and opportunities revolving around our central theme of improving the lives of people all around the world. We have programs that range from opportunities to work in in world class research laboratories doing cutting edge basic research on neglected tropical diseases here in Tampa to a chance to do field work in developing countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

As a department, we encourage both current and prospective students to become involved in departmental events. To the left you will find a calendar of current Global Health Department events. If you are interested in our department, please consider visiting us and attending one of these events. We'd love to see you there!

I hope that our web site can answer most of your questions about USF Global Health, but if you have any questions please feel free to contact us by email or telephone.
