Collaborative for Research Understanding Sexual Health (CRUSH)

The purpose of the CRUSH is to foster high quality interdisciplinary working relationships between faculty and students engaged in scientific discovery related to improvement of sexual health. The collaborative will accomplish this goal by:

1. Facilitating connections between members engaged in similar lines of scientific inquiry, thereby

strengthening research teams and improving the rigor and competitiveness of extramural funding

applications;

2. Supporting training opportunities in sexual health through provision of graduate-level courses and

other didactics (e.g.,research seminars and journal clubs) and funding student research through small

        research and travel grants;

    3. Recruiting students interested in sexual health promotion and research;

    4. Serving as a clearinghouse for professional resources related to research in sexual health.
