Dr. Morrison-Beedy is transforming healthcare and transforming lives at USF Nursing. Through her leadership, the College is tackling healthcare issues through research, education, national and international partnerships and an expanded community.

Research Interests

  • Dr. Morrison-Beedy’s research focuses on HIV prevention in adolescent girls and young women. She has been published widely and received grants from sources that include the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Nursing Research. Since 1993, she has received more than $11 million in HIV prevention research funding.
  • She has over 150 publications and has co-edited a book on intervention research titled Intervention Research: Designing, Conducting, Analyzing, and Funding.
