Staff of the Center for Swallowing Disorders

Susan A. Mullins, LPN

Susan is a licensed practical nurse. She completed her LPN degree in 2003 from Pasco Hernando Community College. Susan has been a part of USF health for 6+ years including experience working with Gastroenterology. She joined our Swallowing Center team in 2018. We are pleased to have her as she is a vital part of the Swallowing Center; she runs the esophageal manometry lab which includes performing esophageal motility and 24 hour pH studies.

Nichole Wood, CMA

Nichole joined the Swallowing Center in July of 2007. She obtained her Medical Assistant training in 2014. Nikki is essential to the successful functioning of our Center and is enthusiastic towards patient care.

Lisa McCollum

Lisa plays many crucial roles for not only our Center, but for the College of Medicine. She is the office manager for our Center Director Dr. Joel Richter, and for the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition.

Tania Ayala Gomez

Tania joined the Swallowing Center in March of 2014. She is the administrative secretary for the Swallowing Center. Tania is fundamental to the behind the scene operations for our clinical practice. She ensures that the daily operations run smoothly and performs fundamental work for our clinical providers and physicians.

Angela Dubose

Angela has been a part of the USF system since 1995. She joined the Swallowing Center team in the Spring of 2019. We are fortunate to her have her as she provides several essential functions such as patient scheduling and assistance for EGD procedures.
