India Adolescent HIV/AIDS Research Training

Welcome to the USF-India Program in Adolescent HIV/AIDS Research Training (PAHRT). Our program focuses on building Adolescent HIV/AIDS research capacity in India. This program is a joint effort between the University of South Florida (USF) and the Vadodara Medical College (VMC) in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. This is one of the latest AIDS International Training and Research Program (AITRP) funded by the Fogarty International Center and the Office of AIDS Research of the National Institutes of Health.

The major focus of PAHRT is Adolescent HIV/AIDS. The program capitalizes on past experience and current involvement of our faculty in the the USF-India Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Training (CHART-India), the USF Pediatric/Adolescent HIV Program, the Adolescent Trials Network, the Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group, the USF Signature Interdisciplinary Program in Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Disease (SIPAIID), the USF College of Medicine Divisions of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Infectious Disease and International Medicine, and the USF College of Public Health Department of Global Health.
