Welcome to USF Health’s Research Core Web Portal. Our goal is to provide access to cutting-edge technology and outstanding scientific services to the USF research community, our research partners, and the broader academic and commercial scientific community. The capabilities and services offered by each core can be found by following the associated links and drop-down menus. Our cores operate on a fee-for-service basis, with pricing depending on the level of service and training required. By providing these services, researchers have economically access to the latest technologies and experts in their use.

Our objectives are

To provide access to sophisticated instrumentation and technologies. Investigators are able to carry out experiments on state of the art instruments that would be difficult to purchase and maintain in their own laboratories or companies. Education. To provide training on the capabilities of the technology, the operation of the instruments, advice on experimental design, in some cases one-on-one training, and assistance with data interpretation and presentation. Training is done through web-based tutorials, seminar presentations, and organized workshops.

To promote entrepreneurship in biotechnology and biomedical research, by providing access to instrumentation and highly skilled research support personnel.
