The Morsani College of Medicine and Heart Institute building (MCOM + HI) represents a modern, innovative approach to research and medical education. The building was designed to foster connections, curiosity and collaboration across USF Health’s education and research missions. Frequently Asked Questions

Floors 1-2M are open to the public. Floors 3-5 are available to students, faculty and staff. Floors 6-7 are available to research staff. If your USF ID is not granting you the access you need on the elevators, please reach out to your supervisor if a staff member or the Office of Student Affairs if a student.
The MDD lost and found is located at the front desk. All items turned into the lost and found are listed here.
It is suggested that visitors to MDD park in either the Car Park parking garage or the Garrison Surface Lot. For more detailed information, click here.
At this time, bikes may be parked at Sparkman Wharf’s parking in front of the ‘Tampa’ sign. Bike racks will be provided on the east side of the building on Meridian Avenue once all building construction is completed. Please note that no scooters or bicycles are allowed in the building.

Yes! USF Health has partnered with ZIPS Dry Cleaners to provide students and staff a convenient, in-house dry cleaning option. Dry cleaning can be dropped off at the MDD front desk before 12pm every Tuesday & Thursday. Pick-up is available after 2pm the following Tuesday or Thursday. Click here for more information.
The elevators in MDD are state-of-the-art, employing destination technology with control panels located outside of the individual cars in each floor's elevator lobby. More detailed information can be found here.

Yes! Students, faculty and staff have access to computers and printers at the Florida Blue Health Knowledge Exchange located on 2M. The printer room is located behind the visualization wall (MDD 251) and accepts Bull Bucks credits. There are also Bull Bucks printers located on floors 3, 4, and 5.
