Controlled Access Hours
In partnership with USF Health Safety & Preparedness, and in consultation with USF Health leadership, the Shimberg Health Sciences Library (which serves the colleges and schools of USF Health) is taking steps to create a safer environment.
SHIMBERG LIBRARY HAS IMPLEMENTED A CONTROLLED ACCESS POLICY AFTER 6:00 pm:

|Saturday||10:00 AM - 6:00 PM||None, Library Closes at 6:00 PM|
Access to the Shimberg Library after 6pm, Sunday through Friday, will be limited to USF Health students, faculty, and staff who have been granted card-swipe access to the building.
- Students who have ALREADY been granted access to our 24/7 space will AUTOMATICALLY be added to the new controlled access group.
- If you have NOT previously been granted access to our 24/7 space, the procedure to request access to the Shimberg main entrance is below.
Request access to the Shimberg
All USF Health students automatically have access for Controlled Access hours and to the 24/7 study space. If USF Health students experience problems, please visit the The WELL's front desk or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
USF students, faculty, and staff from other colleges and schools should consult the USF Tampa Library (http://www.lib.usf.edu/, 813-974-1611) for services and resources available to them during Shimberg Library’s controlled access hours.
