About the Center

History:

The Center for Transdisciplinary Research in College Health and Well-being is an innovative, multidisciplinary academic and community partnership, committed to Health Campus Pledgebridging the gap between professional disciplines to create new paradigms for college health, well-being and success. With the work of our directors, research scientists, student researchers and community partners, we aim to be a national leader in transdisciplinary college health research.

Created through a collaboration between the USF Office of Student Affairs & Student Success and the USF College of Public Health, the Center is considered a Healthy Campus 2020 Partner through the National College Health Association. The designation demonstrates the Center’s commitment toward improving college students’ health, well-being and overall quality of life. Our projects extend beyond traditional interventions of education, diagnosis, treatment and health care at clinical levels and involve embedding health into all aspects of campus culture, across administration, operations and academics.

Vision:

Promoting health and well-being to improve overall quality of life and college student success.
