Interdisciplinary Training Program for
Infectious Disease Drug Discovery
2017 Domestic and International Travel Awards
The Infectious Disease Drug Discovery Training Program promotes and provides training to doctoral students by integrating faculty research from the Departments of Global Health; Molecular Medicine; Chemistry; and Cell Biology,
Microbiology and Molecular Biology (CMMB).
The program allows students to participate as team members in high profile drug discovery projects
and promotes development of efficient strategies able to solve global challenges in
the fight against
infectious diseases.
The travel award will permit USF students working towards a doctoral degree to present their research at a high impact and internationally recognized conference. Limited funds are available.
Up to $500 (domestic)
and $1,000
(international)
will be awarded to meritorious applications as they are
received.
