About Us

about_sercsa_pic.gifThe Sunshine ERC Student Association (SERCSA) consists of all students who have been accepted into one of the five NIOSH-supported programs: Occupational Exposure Science (Industrial Hygiene), Occupational Health Nursing, Occupational Health Psychology, Occupational Medicine Residency and Occupational Safety. The primary purpose of the SERCSA is to provide its students with interdisciplinary academic and social opportunities. We hope that these activities will enhance and enrich our students' learning and personal experiences while attending USF. Activities are coordinated by Ms. Ellen Kent along with an advisory board of students elected each year with representatives from each discipline. The SERC Student Association Advisory Committee planning meetings are usually held the first Wednesday afternoon of each month. All SERC students are welcome to attend and may contact Ellen Kent, MPH, CPH, Advisor to request the agenda, time and location for the upcoming monthly meeting of the SERC Student Association Advisory Committee.
