Register for 40-Hour Training Course
This two-day (16 hour) course includes the most recent nationally recognized standards (ATS/ERS) for reliable spirometry in the occupational health setting. The class combines lecture, practice, and demonstration using a wide variety of spirometers in a relaxed classroom environment.
Upon successful completion participants will be awarded a certificate valid for 5 years.

Asbestos Inspector Initial Training Course (24 hours)
A number of short hands-on exercises will be incorporated into the class covering the following topics:
• Background Information
• Health Effects
• Safe Handling
• Inspection Techniques
• Personal Protection
• Medical Surveillance
• Bulk Sampling
Lead Initial Renovation, Repair and Painting Training Courses (8hours)
Presentation will emphazise safety issues such as:
• OSHA’s General Safety & New GHS Requirements
• Personnel Air Moniroring & Final Air Testing
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Advances in Abatement Techniques
• Recent Changes, Legislation and Issues in the Asbestos, Lead and Mold Fields
Mold Assessment & Remediation Course (16Hrs)
Environmental and Occupational Health Specialty Courses (PDC) (8hr)
The Sunshine ERC regularly hosts a regional seminar at the national Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Health Conference. The national event takes place each August in Orlando, FL. Continuing education credits are provided with registration for many professions.
