Thank you for your interest in advanced degrees in Occupational Health and Safety at the University of South Florida. NIOSH tuition support and research related travel to professional conferences are available to graduate students w/ US citizenship or residency. See each program for details. Here is some information about the academic training programs that you may find helpful including the curriculum requirements and how to apply to each program.   • Occupational Exposure Science

    The Occupational Exposure Science (formerly Industrial Hygiene) program is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) and offers both an MSPH and PhD degree program.   • Occupational Medicine Residency

    The Occupational Medicine Residency program offers either an MPH or MSPH degree in Environmental and Occupational Health in conjunction with clinical training for the residency program.   • Occupational Health Nursing

    The Occupational Health Nursing program offers an interdisciplinary Dual Degree (MS/MPH) Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in occupational health and adult-gerontology primary care (AGPCNP) plus a Master of Public Health in environmental and occupational health. master's program in Occupational Health Nursing/ Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) as well as a (MS) Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in occupational health and adult-gerontology primary care (AGPCNP) degree.  Please follow the link below to learn more about the field of occupational health nursing, and the opportunities for learning at USF.

  • Occupational Health Psychology

    The Occupational Health Psychology program currently offers a PhD degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Occupational Health Psychology.
