Adam Marty is a Safety and Health Consultant with the USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program. Adam is one of our newer consultants, joining the team in 2014. Adam recently completed a Doctoral Degree in Industrial Hygiene from the University of South Florida.
His research was concerned with the generation and characterization of nanoaerosols using electron microscopy and a portable scanning mobility particle sizer. Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, Adam worked as a chemist for an environmental laboratory and has experience with high pressure liquid chromatographic and gas chromatographic techniques.
Adam brings to the Program a level of knowledge in industrial hygiene, aerosol science, and laboratory science. His most recent training includes extensive coursework in the Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals.
