The Get Covered. Get in the Game. campaign was launched in seven pilot states in 2010: Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin. The goal is to bring coaches, schools, families, and communities together to raise awareness about available health coverage and get eligible children enrolled in CHIP or Medicaid. In particular, this outreach campaign aims to target teenagers as they currently have the lowest health coverage retention rates. Ensuring health coverage for teens during these critical developmental years will help to provide necessary care for adolescents.
