  • Primary research interest is in the conduct and methodology of large-scale randomized clinical trials of non-pharmacological interventions that form the evidence base for effective clinical practice.
  • Prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease risk factors such as stress, depression, diabetes and obesity.
  • Health of underprivileged populations.
  • Behavioral, environmental and genetic factors that contribute to successful treatment of opioid use disorder.
  • Methods for conducting and implementing randomized controlled trials.
  • The conduct of high-quality randomized controlled trials.
