Pediatric Health Nursing

Pediatric Nurse Practitioners promote wellness and disease prevention, treat illness, and manage chronic illness of infants, children, adolescents and their families. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provides health care to children from birth through age 21 in a variety of settings from the primary care office, to clinics and hospitals.

The Pediatric Health Nursing program prepares graduates to implement evidence-based practice guidelines and critically analyze and adapt health care interventions based on the individual needs of each patient.
