The goal of the program is to prepare residents to be competent general pediatricians and internists able to provide comprehensive, coordinated community health care to a broad range of pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. The educational component is designed to develop the competencies and skills required to care for a variety of chronic and complex patients.
