Training will include the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of movement disorders, with emphasis on Parkinson's disease. The candidate will have the chance to work with Dr. Sanchez-Ramos and to collaborate with neurosurgery in treating patients who require deep brain stimulation. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to work at least 2 days a week in basic research in the laboratory of Dr. Sanchez-Ramos, with a focus on stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
