Something about you: I was a competitive gymnast for 20 years (Go Bears!) and I adopted my coaches’ tradition of doing a standing backflip on every birthday.

Why USF?: The people. From day one as a rotating medical student I was treated like a friend and valuable member of the team. The attendings/residents, nursing and ancillary staff are very friendly and have your back when things get crazy. The pathology (high volume level 1 trauma center), the location (hospital is on the water) and the facilities (recently renovated ER) are an added bonus.

Why USF?: I loved the people I met on the interview day. Having lunch with the residents felt like hanging out with old friends, and everyone I met seemed so incredibly happy. Tampa is also a great city and I have family nearby. For me it was the perfect place to spent the next three years.
