Where to go:
You will be contacted as to where to meet for orientation if you have not please contact us at: ZachariahMD@gmail.com and

Before Your 1st Shift:

  1. If you have not been contacted on making your schedule at least 1 week prior to the rotation write Dr. Zachariah at: ZachariahMD@gmail.com
  2. Go to the Contact Information Page and fill out your contact information.
  3. Subscribe to the USF EM Clerkship Google Groups Below:
    Click Here to go to the USF Emergency Medicine Clerkship Google and request to join the group. Updates for the month will be emailed through this group
  4. Read through this website in it's entirety
  5. Complete all of you required EPIC training and have your access to EPIC ready and check to see if it is working
  6. HAVE SCHEDULED YOUR SHIFTS WITH DR. DUSS

On the First Day of your rotation

  1. Complete the pretest (see the Test Links tab)

On Wednesdays

  1. Go to Grand Rounds

On Wednesday of the First Week of your rotation

  1. Go to SimLab @ CAMLS

1 HOUR BEFORE THE END OF EACH SHIFT:

  1. Print out the shift evaluation form
  2. Hand the form to the ATTENDING that you work with (RESIDENT EVALS WILL NOT COUNT)
  3. GET THE EVAL BACK
  4. GET THE EVAL BACK
  5. GET THE EVAL BACK
  6. If I haven't been clear then GET THE EVAL BACK
  7. Make a copy of the eval and keep it for your records, if I am missing something I will ask you for your copy
  8. Submit the evaluation in the box labeled ANDRIA PERRY which you will find underneath the box for Dr. Zachariah in the staff break room in the ed

YOUR HOURS SHOULD TOTAL TO THE NUMBER OF HOURS YOU WORKED ON SHIFT THIS IS ONE OF THE CHECKS I USE

Before Monday of the Second Week of your rotation

  1. Complete the explanation submissions (see the Test Links tab)

Before End of your rotation

  1. Complete the final exam (you must have submitted your explanation submission at least 24 hours prior to this final (see the Test Links tab)
