Welcome to the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of South Florida (USF). As Chair of the department, it is my pleasure to share our vision and accomplishments with you.

We are part of the nation’s fastest-rising public urban-research university, USF, which recently celebrated one year of being invited to the prestigious Association of American Universities, placing us among only 71 universities nationwide. 

Our Otolaryngology Residency program offers a dynamic five-year training experience, providing extensive education in the medical and surgical management of patients of all ages. Residents also benefit from a protected period for research, allowing them to engage in innovative studies while training across four affiliated institutions.

In partnership with our primary teaching hospital, Tampa General Hospital (TGH), one of the nation’s largest hospitals, we provide a solid foundation for our inpatient care and our educational mission. This partnership forms the only academic medical center in the Tampa Bay region and the largest multispecialty practice on the West Coast of Florida.
