Spam E-Mail Protection
Malicious software, viruses, and malware often come through email spam messages. Infected computers can have a disastrous effect on the USF Health network. They can also put a strain on the campus's ability to accomplish core business activities and instructional functions. In order to protect the campus computing infrastructure, we have a spam protection system in place that attempts to prevent malicious messages from reaching your inbox. In some cases legitimate messages will be captured in the spam filter, but the system allows customers to release legitimate messages from the system. A daily report is emailed to each customer showing what messages are captured in their spam queue.
How to Request this Service
Visit the Client Portal to submit a request for this service. Please remember to be as detailed as possible so that Health IS can quickly fulfill the request.
This service is included at no cost for all USF Health account holders.
Customers can submit inquiries about this service any time, but installations and troubleshooting occur during normal business hours (M-F 8am-5pm). Requests submitted after hours will be processed the next business day.
