Web conferencing is an ideal solution for faculty and staff to communicate or collaborate with their colleagues through a scheduled meeting. When it is necessary to view materials such as spreadsheets or presentations, this service allows the conference facilitator and/or participants to share their monitors from their desktops, laptops, or tablets in real-time. Additionally, web conferencing offers options that utilize a conference bridge for the audio portion and an internet link for presentations. This option may require special software and/or operating system (OS) requirements.
How to Request this Service
Visit the Client Portal to submit a request for this service. Please remember to be as detailed as possible so that Health IS can quickly fulfill the request.
There may be a cost to setup a web conference as an account with a third party company (Webex, Go To Meeting) is usually required.
Priority is given to the earliest requests. A request does not guarantee that capacity will be available as this is a limited resource.
