Throat, Voice, and Swallowing Disorders (Laryngology)

At USF Health, our Otolaryngology team specializes in caring for patients with diseases of the throat, larynx (voice box), and the upper digestive tract or esophagus, including voice and swallowing disorders. Using today’s advanced technology and treatments –  videostroboscopy, laryngeal electromyography (we are 1 of only 4 centers in Florida offering this), and in-office laryngeal injections – our providers are helping patients across the state with conditions affecting their throats, including:
  • Hoarseness
  • Spasmodic dysphonia
  • Vocal tremor
  • Vocal cord paralysis
  • Vocal fold atrophy
  • Hyperfunctional dysphonia
  • Chronic cough
