We are delighted to join Dean Klasko in announcing the creation of USF Wellness an exciting new initiative of USF Health.
USF Health aims to transform the culture, environment, and service delivery from a medically-reactive model of health care to a systematically-proactive model of prevention in order to improve quality of life, health, and productivity from USF and the Tampa Bay region. The literature clearly documents a positive return on investment through wellness programs in the areas of productivity, decreased absence, and healthcare expense.
USF Wellness provides a unique opportunity to improve USF and community access to the many wellness efforts already in place at USF Health though increased synergy, coordination, and support. We are armed with a significant amount of expertise and passion for making a difference in proactive health care.
In the upcoming months we invite and encourage you to become actively involved with USF Wellness and its related activities. Our immediate focus will be on USF Health employees but will ultimately expand to serve the entire Tampa Bay region.
