Dear Colleagues:

The Office of Decision Support (ODS), USF Health provides relevant data/information to key stakeholders in the institution allowing them to undertake a strategic and informed decision-making process. One of the most important functions of this Office is to collate required data and ensure its validity by undertaking a rather cumbersome and stringent verification process. Since historic data/trends have a significant impact on the success of future projections, this Office is tasked with the responsibility of developing a data bank of relevant information for its ultimate use in this process. It is the goal of this Office to serve the needs of the faculty, staff, and students of USF Health and provide them with timely access to the most accurate data and its interpretations.

In addition to serving as the “Data Brain” for the success of the missions at USF Health, this Office is also responsible for collating similar information from other SUS institutions of higher education in the State of Florida and for following regional, national, and international trends/priorities. Intercalating relevant information/data from USF Health with these other agencies is a critical function of this Office.
