Helen Georgiev, MPH.

Helen Georgiev received both a BS in Biology in 2007 and a Master of Public Health in 2009 from the University of South Florida. While a student in the MPH program, she was awarded the DHHS Public Health Traineeship. From May 2009 to May 2010, she worked at the USF, College of Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease and International Medicine as a research associate. As a research associate, she conducted HIV/AIDS research, organized international training programs, and coordinated the International Medicine Scholarly Concentration. In May 2010, she joined the Center for Evidenced-Based Medicine and Health Outcomes Research as a statistical data analyst. Her primary research interests are HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, and social-behavioral issues.
