Volunteer Opportunities
HSC
Service Corps
The HSC Service Corps is a student-led initiative that enables
students from all four USF Health Sciences Center (HSC) educational
programs (Medicine, Nursing, Public Health and Physical Therapy)
to participate in service activities together. This program is
sponsored by the USF Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and has
its own Coordinator, Mrs. Ellen Kent, MPH, who serves as a liaison
and helps students with planning and implementing events. Any
HSC student can participate. Service events that are offered throughout
the year include National Primary Care Week, Public Health Week,
the Heart walk, health fairs, school physicals, the March of Dimes
walk, and much more. [learn
