This academic year, the 20th annual USF Health Research Day was held on Friday, February 19, 2010, and the COPH had 29 student presenters!

Oral Presentations

For the third consecutive year, USF Health Research Day included an oral presentation session and two COPH graduate students were selected to participate in this prestigious event. Their presentations were of exceptional quality, and their abstracts will be submitted to the national Delta Omega Poster Competition. These students include:

Natalie Hernandez (PhD student, CFH). Ethnic Differences in HPV Knowledge and Intentions Among Hispanic and Non-Hispanic Males

Matt Tucker (PhD student, GH). Molecular Characterization of Resistance to Artemisinin Drugs in Plasmodium falciparum
