Student Research and Practice Poster Display and Competition
On March 30, 2009, the College of Public Health (COPH) held a successful student research poster display and competition. Congratulations to the thirty-four COPH masters and doctoral level students who participated in this poster competition! All of the student posters were excellent and will remain on display at the COPH. The complete abstract booklet can be accessed at http://health.usf.edu/publichealth/officeresearch/nphw2009/pdfs/nphw_posters_2009.pdfclick here to go back to Office of Research home page
An interdisciplinary team of COPH faculty judges reviewed the students’ posters and oral presentations. Those students who received outstanding/superior evaluations from the judging team received small cash awards and were also honored during the National Public Health Week awards ceremony on April 1, 2009. In addition, their poster abstracts have been submitted by the COPH to the national Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health Annual Poster Competition.
