Public Health Administration (MPH)
| Curriculum or Plan of Study
The concentration requires a minimum of 43 credit hours (attached). All listed courses are currently offered as on-line courses, and each is offered at least once annually. The proposed curriculum requires the five public health core courses and five departmental courses. The core courses are offered annually in both traditional and on-line formats. The five departmental courses are offered annually in the on-line format. In addition, students select three courses that are relevant to their professional goals among on-line or traditional courses offered by the HPM Department or among courses offered by other departments. Thus, students may choose to complete the entire program on-line or can choose to complete eight of the 13 courses in a traditional format course. The field experience hours vary based on a student’s work experience. Students with limited or no public health experience are required to complete six credit hours of field placement. Those with a few years of experience are required to complete three hours. Those with leadership experience are required to complete one credit hour.
