Master of Public Health with a Concentration in Health Care Organizations and management
The Master of Public Health concentration in Health Care Organizations and Management prepares students for management positions in health care and related organizations, emphasizing fundamental skills necessary for effective health care management. The coursework is similar to the Master of Health Administration, with fewer required courses in financial management and quantitative methods. The MPH-HCO is a more flexible program which offers the student a chance to specialize in a subject of interest through elective courses.
Master of Public Health with a Concentration in Health Policies & Programs
The MPH – HPP provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to formulate sound, creative solutions to complex problems in health care. It emphasizes skills in developing, analyzing and evaluating public policy for private health services and public health programs. This concentration prepares students for policy evaluation and research positions in both public and private organizations and agencies.
Master of Public Health with a Concentration in Public Health Administration – online
The MPH-PHA prepares students for administrative and managerial positions, with an emphasis on population health and communities, policy development, and program planning and evaluation. Graduates are prepared for positions in health care organizations, agencies and programs.
All the courses for the MPH-PHA are web-based, with the exception of a week-long Seminar held on the Tampa campus towards the end of the program of study.

As part of their program of study, students perform a Field Experience under the supervision of a healthcare professional in a non-classroom setting.
