Information Exchange
The functions of this Unit would relate to (1) Exchange of materials between the Center and other organizations or (2) Direct supply to another Center or organization.
- Exchange
The Center can exchange resource materials such as positive fecal specimens, photomicrographs, or other materials with institutions or organizations for some materials needed by the Center. For example, a pathologist supplies tissue slides from a parasitic infection and the Center makes photomicrographs of the specimens or photomicrographs of pathology of other parasitic infections and sends these to the pathologist in exchange.

- Direct Supply
The Center responds to requests from schools or organizations needing materials for training in-house such as positive fecal specimens, photomicrographs, or educational materials. In such cases, a charge usually would be required for materials supplied.
