The 2012 Inaugural Summer Institute in Occupational Health and Safety

During this exciting inaugural program at USF, 15 students were able to learn about key public health themes and current issues in occupational health and safety by participating in seminars, laboratory sessions, and field experiences. As illustrated in the photo montage below, the program participants met with experts from:
- USF College of Public Health
- Occupational Health and Safety Administration
- USF Environmental Health and Safety Program
- James A. Haley Veterans Hospital
- Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo
- Hillsborough County Water Reclamation Facility
- Pinellas County Waste-to-Energy facility
- Leader Tech
as well as research scientists from the College of Public Health and College of Medicine.
