Bio

Nanhua Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics. He received his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan in 2011 and joined the faculty at the University of South Florida in the same year. Dr. Zhang's current research focuses on the analysis with missing data, survey methodology, and causal inference in randomized clinical trials with noncompliance.

Dr. Zhang has a wide variety of applied interests. He has served as a statistician on several behavioral intervention projects related to physical activity, smoking cessation and promoting fruit and vegetable intake etc. His past collaborative projects also include: driving with Alzheimer's Disease, Health disparities, Early childhood lead exposure on academic performance. Dr. Zhang is interested in developing new methods to solve problems arising from health-related projects.
