Dr. Lakshminarayan Rajaram is a mathematician with expertise in biomedical and clinical statistics and research. Dr. Rajaram is an Affiliate Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. He is also a Courtesty Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health as well as Courtesy Professor in the Department of Pharmatceutical Sciences, both at the USF. He is a tenured Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the St. Petersburg College, Tarpon Springs, Florida as well as an adjunct faculty, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida. In addition, he is the Vice-President of Clinical Research & Biostatistics Development at Quantum Enterprises, Inc., Princeton, New Jersey.
Dr. Rajaram trains researchers, clinicians and graduate students in Biostatistics, Computer Applications for Public Health Researchers (a SAS based course) and Clinical Database Design & Data Management. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a biostatistician as well as a data manager for multi-center clinical trials in USA and Europe. He regularly conducts short courses and workshops in USA and abroad in the areas of design of clinical trial databases, SAS programming, clinical data management, biostatistics, pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence.
