DPT / MPH Combined Curriculum

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) / Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program

This exciting dual degree is offered for students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree program.  Students enrolled in the DPT program may seek admission to the College of Public Health , and if accepted may pursue a MPH degree in any of our departments in concert with the DPT degree.  Students enrolled in the DPT/MPH should be able to complete both programs within five years.  Students will begin taking courses in the College of Public Health in year 2 of the DPT program.  Students will also need to complete one hour of field experience through the College of Public Health that most likely will be merged with the required service learning in the DPT program.  The COPH special project will be earned through the final critical inquiry project for the DPT.  Students in this dual degree program will be assigned advisors in the College of Public Health and in the School of Physical Therapy.
