Participant Pre-Requisites:

Learners should possess the following knowledge, skill, and abilities prior to registering for and attending the on-site trainings:

  • Leadership/supervisory knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of their agency’s role in the community
  • Experience in collaborating/building partnerships with other agencies in their community
  • Role in community’s disaster response team
  • Interest in actively participating in community disaster response
