What is your area of interest? Undergraduate Education; Adolescent Health
What made you interested in this field? A background in nursing with an emphasis in maternal and child health.
What brought you to the University of South Florida? The University of South Florida was the only College of Public Health at the time that I started my MPH degree.
What are is your teaching philosophy?
Teach so that students learn knowledge through experience.
In your opinion, what makes the Department of Community and Family Health at USF stand out?
What makes the USF Department of Community and Family Health stand out is the large number of wonderful and diverse MPH and PhD students and the diverse faculty interests.
What are your interests/hobbies outside of work? I enjoy biking and playing with my three grandchildren.
