I am a dual MPH/MSW student with a concentration in Behavioral Health. Currently, I am working with individuals who suffer from co-occurring mental disorders and are involved with the criminal justice system. My ideal job is to blend the roles of public health and social work in a community-based mental health agency setting. My favorite thing about BHSO is the friendship and camaraderie that is shared between members.
My name is Kathryn Rosini and I am a graduate student in the College of Public Health. My MPH concentration is Behavioral Health. I hold a BA in psychology from Loyola University in Maryland. My research focuses on Eating Disorders treatment and prevention and co-occurring Substance Use Disorders. My goal is to purse a MSW after I complete my MPH, in order to obtain an LCSW and work in Eating/Substance Use treatment.
My name is Jess and I am a graduate student in the College of Public Health. By training, I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and hold a BS in Health Education. I worked in the public health field for 5 years before coming to USF to pursue my master's degree with a concentration in behavioral health. As an Institute Scholar with the Institute for Translational Research in Adolescent Behavioral Health, my current research interests are in the realm of adolescent substance abuse.
My name is Sophia Bankole and I am a third year undergraduate student transferring from Florida International University (FIU) with a major in Psychology, concentrating in mental disorders. This is my first semester in the program and attending USF. When I graduate, I do plan on pursuing a master’s degree. I am interested in working in a behavior health facility of mental illnesses.
