Abstract

The specific aim of this study is to evaluate the usability and preliminary acceptability of a Web-based intervention for assessing and managing Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN) using a framework of Creativity, Optimism, Planning, and Expert guidance (COPE), a readily taught problem solving approach for managing symptoms with demonstrated success in reducing symptom distress.

Public Health Relevance

This study will provide a novel Web-based self-management program that will provide patients with information designed to improve problem solving skills, facilitate communication with healthcare providers regarding symptoms and give specific information, tailored to individual needs, on how to best manage CIPN.
