Understanding how clinicians learn, form judgments, and make decisions is fundamental to optimizing health care. Teaching clinicians to use quantitative methods is fundamental to ensuring evidence-based practice.

Research Interests

  • I am a cognitive psychologist with expertise in quantitative methods and research study design in both basic and applied settings. My applied research interests include: expert (clinical) judgment and decision making, sequential context effects in judgment and learning tasks, and most recently, perception of randomness and regularities in the environment.
