Pediatric Nurse Practitioners promote wellness and disease prevention, treat illness, and manage chronic illness of infants, children, adolescents and their families. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provides health care to children from birth through age 21 in a variety of settings from the primary care office, to clinics and hospitals.
As a USF Pediatric Nurse Practitioner you will be prepared to implement evidence-based practice guidelines and to critically analyze and adapt health care interventions based on the individual needs of each patient. USF will prepare you with the knowledge of the specific healthcare issues of people from diverse populations and to practice as part of an interprofessional healthcare team.
