All USF Nursing Graduate Certificate Admissions are Currently on Hold.
Admission to the Graduate Certificate program is competitive and is based on the satisfactory review of all required submitted materials and on the availability of adequate classroom, clinical facilities, and faculty. The applicant is responsible for compiling and submitting the complete set of materials. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying for this program:
- Masters degree from a National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited program, depending on the certificate program.
- Earned an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale in masters program.*
- Evidence of current Florida RN/ARNP license in good standing. **
*The Adult and Family concentrations are highly competitive. Thus, admission requirements may be higher for those concentrations.
**Nurse Practitioners returning for certification in another concentration must provide a copy of current licensure in their original masters degree concentration.
