The College is committed to recruiting a diverse pool of applicants who are highly motivated to achieve the doctoral program objectives. Admission to the program is based on a number of factors to evaluate a student's potential for academic success at the doctoral level. Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to apply for the program:
- Master of Science with a major in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- 3.0 GPA
- Scored competitively on the quantitative, verbal and analytic portions of the GRE
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (CRNA, NP, CNM, CNS) -Florida license needed for residencies
- National certification in area of advanced practice
- Strong record of clinical excellence
- Completion of the following Masters Nursing courses with a B or better: Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Physical Assessment, Research, and Theory
